AI paths to moksha

if true devotion mitigates karma why practice other forms like karma gnana

True devotion (Bhakti) is not an alternative to Karma and Jnana, but the spiritualizing force that transforms them into effective means for liberation.

Karma Yoga: Without devotion, ordinary actions create new karmic bondage regardless of their moral quality. Bhakti gives spiritual value to karma, transforming actions into Akarma (action without binding consequences) by dedicating them to God, thus preventing the accumulation of new negative karma.

Jnana Yoga: Intellectual knowledge alone can lead to arrogance if not tempered by humility and devotion. Devotion produces the knowledge of the truth, and Jnana makes liberation easy by burning away accumulated karma.  The paths are complementary, with Bhakti often serving as the foundation that purifies the mind for true wisdom.

Synergistic Effect: The three paths are viewed as leading to the same destination. Sanctifying work through Karma, realizing truth through Jnana, and offering everything to God through Bhakti allows the practitioner to exhaust past karma and transcend the cycle of birth and death more effectively than any single path in isolation"
